Your work environment at EXP
We are currently seeking a Field Technician to join our Geotechnical Instrumentation and Monitoring team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and performance of geotechnical instrumentation systems at various construction sites.
What a day at EXP has in
store for you
·
Perform comprehensive field monitoring of ground,
subsoil, structures, geo-structures, tunnels, and utility movements.
·
Conduct groundwater level and porewater pressure
measurements.
·
Carry out field surveying activities to gather
accurate data.
·
Perform safety and hazard analyses, ensuring a secure
working environment.
·
Install and maintain instrumentation systems,
utilizing power tools for repair, installation, and decommissioning.
·
Supervise drilling activities as required.
·
Monitor construction activities, providing real-time
feedback and insights
What your experience looks like
·
College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a
related field.
·
Ability to understand and resolve problems efficiently
on construction sites.
·
Proficiency in reading drawings and specifications.
·
Diplomacy and tact in interactions with staff,
clients, consultants, and contractors.
·
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal
communication skills.
·
Strong organizational and time management skills with
acute attention to detail.
·
Capability to write clear and concise field reports,
including recommendations.
·
Possession of a valid driver’s license and a reliable
vehicle for travel to construction sites.
·
Physical fitness for handling equipment and
construction materials.
