Tridel employees are true champions in getting into the holiday spirit of giving and spreading joy in the community. Through the “Holiday Bingo” campaign – an inter-departmental challenge to collect the coolest, trendiest gifts for children up to the age of 16, was a huge success. Together, we collected close to 200 gifts for the Toy Drive in Alexandra Park and provided 50 grocery and shopping gift cards to families in Leslie Nymark to add extra cheer to holiday celebrations, Tridel volunteers from the Take Action Team supported a holiday event in the Leslie Nymark community alongside our partners from Toronto Community Housing. This event featured gingerbread and ornament decoration, a family photo booth, and a community dinner. The extra tinsel on the tree? Three resident-owned catering and photography businesses were procured for the event!
