About The Role

Having a positive, professional, and upbeat attitude, with a passion for quality, the PDI Specialist is responsible for conducting in-suite & common area inspections prior to the Homeowner Orientation, ensuring accuracy of installation of suite finishes and execution of all personal selections. The PDI Specialist will report to the Team Lead and Quality Assurance Manager on deficiency and installation trends by project. The PDI Specialist will also work closely with teammates within Customer Care, Construction & Property Management in fulfilling the common goal of creating customers for life and caring to the need of purchasers throughout the different phases of their new home buying experience.

 

The main responsibilities of our PDI Specialist will include:

·       Inspect all suites and common elements for accuracy of installed finishes and approved Purchase Agreements in accordance with Construction Schedule, report all inspection deficiencies to on-site Construction and Customer Care teams

·       Organize, compile, and manage the resources required to conduct accurate inspections such as finalized architectural and electrical floor plans, suite standard features and finishes list

·       Catalogue and gain a familiarization with all standard selections and finishes

·       Confirm completion of deficiencies reported to Construction prior to the Homeowner Orientation

·       Understand Home Orientation process, including but not exclusive to the suite mechanical functions, explanation of operations, and warranty periods and maintenance requirements 

·       Meet or exceed individual key performance indicators (i.e. Net Promoter Score, 0 at Interim, QR Schedule Adherence, Case Resolution Time)

 

Secondary Responsibilities

·       Prepare the suite for closing by supporting teammates in confirming suite readiness

·       Assist with departmental meetings, Customer Workshops, Education Seminars, and other special projects as needed

·       Contribute to and participate in social media/web promotion of the company

·       Assist Team Lead with Post-Occupancy deficiency management and resident communications

·       Assist and support other job functions as required 

 

About Our Next PDI Specialist  

·        Education/Experience: Relevant post-secondary education and/or previous Customer Service and Construction experience preferred

Additional Information

This is a permanent, full-time position. Typical working hours are Monday-Friday from 9AM to 5 PM, with additional coverage for afterhours and weekends based on customer need required on a rotating basis.Your work location will be a Tridel community within the GTA and neighbouring regions. Flexibility may be required to work at multiple Tridel communities based on team need.
