Tridel is excited to welcome a dynamic and adaptable Procurement Coordinator to
join our Estimating team.
About the
Job
As a Procurement Coordinator,
your main responsibility will be preparing quantity take-offs for our exciting
pipeline of residential high-rise projects. You will also support the
estimating department by assisting in proposal preparation, managing tenders,
and performing technical assessments to facilitate analysis functions.
In this role, you will
collaborate closely with project teams, tradespeople, and consultants.
Reporting directly to the Chief Estimator, your key responsibilities will
include:

Assisting
in the preparation, distribution, and tracking of tender documents.

Administering
the preferred bidder's list.
·
Participating
in the preparation and distribution of monthly budgets and cost control
reports.
·
Communicating
with site employees to gather necessary information for monthly reporting.
·
Gathering
data and accurately documenting information for cost estimates and proposals.
·
Assisting
in the preparation of precise quantity takeoffs for Deltera and Tridel
Developments at various stages of drawing development and construction.

Maintaining
an accurate database for quantities, documents, and files.
·
Managing
resources, adhering to project timelines, and upholding the highest standards
of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Who You Are

You possess strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills with a keen ability to prioritize and plan, paying close attention to detail. You are known for your ability to follow policies and procedures and work well under direction. Your organizational skills and adaptability to fast-paced, complex environments are essential. You have a strong inclination toward continuous improvement and creative problem-solving.
What You
Bring
·
Post-secondary
education in Estimating, Project Management, Construction, or related programs.
·
Experience
in an Estimating co-op role or equivalent volunteer experience.
·
Proficiency
in Microsoft Office.
·
Advanced
proficiency in Excel and on-screen takeoff software.
