About the
Job
Our Project Lead will have a broad
range of responsibilities spanning the entire project lifecycle. Their primary
objective will be to ensure the successful completion of projects from the
concept stage to occupancy and project closeout. Reporting to the Project
Manager and/or Senior Project Manager, they will play a pivotal role in
managing resources, adhering to project timelines, and upholding the highest
standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
With the aspiration to eventually
assume the role of Project Manager, you will work closely with the project
team, including staff, tradespeople, and consultants. Your role will involve:

Overseeing
the working drawing stage, ensuring coordinated drawings and efficient
construction methods.

Coordinating
consultant meetings, distributing project documentation, and providing leadership
for budget-conscious progress.

Advising
and negotiating with project consultants, optimizing selection and fee
arrangements.

Collaborating
with internal teams to develop preliminary budgets and schedules.
·
Guiding
consultants in the design of the sales office.
·
Managing
the tendering and awarding of contracts for sales office construction.
·
Monitoring
sales progress, adapting project design to market needs, and regularly
reviewing and updating budgets for revisions.

What You
Bring
·
Undergraduate
degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
·
5
- 10 years of experience in the capacity of construction management.
·
Strong
knowledge of high-rise residential construction processes and best practices.
·
Proven
experience in successfully managing construction projects from concept to
completion.
·
Proficient
in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
·
Familiarity
with relevant building codes, permits, and regulations.
·
Advanced
knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel).
·
Experience
with Autodesk and BlueBeam considered an asset.
