The holidays have always been a special time at Tridel – a time to look back at the past year, celebrate and most importantly give back. Every year, employees from across the Tridel Group of Companies participate in the Annual Holiday Giving campaign, raising funds, donating toys, and volunteering their time to spread holiday joy and cheer in the communities we are fortunate to build in.
This year has been a particularly difficult one, and the challenges of this last year were a reminder of the importance of spreading a little extra joy, love, and support this holiday season. Through the generosity of our employees and the support of our Operating Committee, the Tridel family stepped up to the challenge and raised enough funds to provide over 100 children and families with toys and gift cards to local grocery stores in their neighbourhood.
While Santa’s Workshop in Alexandra Park was canceled this year, our Tridel elves joined the wonderful volunteers and community members from Alexandra Park to help hand-deliver Santa’s gifts to kids and youth in the community. Seeing the passion, love, and creativity that went into reimagining this year’s Santa’s Workshop by the team at the Alexandra Park Community Centre is a memory and experience that we will forever cherish and be grateful to be a part of.
